Kit Limpopo Throw

Quilt finished size is 60″ x 72″ approximately. The kit contains a selection of  cream, chocolate and indigo Shweshwe prints as well as a pattern with cutting and piecing instructions to make a Limpopo Throw quilt top. All the prints are authentic 3Cats Shweshwe and they require pre-washing before cutting. All patterns are for personal use only.

The Limpopo River is the border between South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. In Sepedi, the Northern Sotho regional dialect, “Limpopo” means “strong gushing waterfalls” but at its eastern end it becomes a muddy meandering river heavy with silt. Seasons of dire drought and torrential flooding are typical.
